In 1901, George was living with his parents, a sister and brother in Healeyfield, Co Durham, where the children were all born. In 1911, the family were living in Boldron.
Family Details:

Born about 1899 at Healeyfieled in the Parish of Castleside, Consett, George was the son of George Strong (from Penrith) and Mary (from Arkengarthdale). The 1901 Census shows that George had an older sister and brother called Dorothy and Robley (see separate entry). The children were all born in Healeyfield. By 1911, George's parents were living in Boldron with Dorothy and another daughter called Hannah Elizabeth Soulbey and her son, George William Gordon.  Robley was living on the farm where he was working.
